The Pursuit Of Happiness: 2.107

Super excited for my 2016 day-by-day calendar. It's all about happiness. And it was delivered today.

Also, I filled my craving for a Wegmans subs. Tuna on everything bread. Nom. Nom. Nom.

Happy to see Brenden so excited when I surprised him with tickets the Ravens vs 49ers game. It was the first game of the season and Brenden's first time seeing his team live. Although I don't love football, I had an enjoyable time with great weather, a fun game, tons of junk food and a very happy boyfriend.

So I know I felt off the map with these posts for a couple days, but I was taking a break from technology post work, and that in itself was a happiness win for me. My mind has been swirling from all the blogs and research about a million things I was interested in looking up and I just couldn't concentrate. So a brief recap on what would have been my posts for the last two days:

July 22: Another successful 1-mile fun run. This time I finished in 7:04, 2 seconds faster then the last. And, some of my tri friends came out and gave the run a try as well which was nice to have more company.

July 23: A yummy Panera dinner and catching up with all kids of chit chat with my friend Jeff.

And tonight (July 24) I leave you with a quote: "A 'No' uttered from the deepest conviction is better then a 'Yes' merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble." ~Gandhi

I had fun being able to spend the afternoon in Annapolis with some friends. I was super excited to go paddleboarding for the first time, but unfortunately they were all rented for the day when we got there. Although I was a bit disappointed, I had an amazing time kayaking the waters, racing and just hanging during our time.

And, I was able to try standing on a paddleboard for two minutes as we were coming in. So excited and awesome! I can't wait to actually have time to get used to the board and go farther then the docks. We then enjoyed some ice cream and coffee downtown before heading home. It was great and I
