The Pursuit Of Happiness - Entry #119
November 1, 2013
I had a wonderful evening at my friend Lauren's (
http://thefoodcomplex.com, check out her blog to see more food from the night and get the recipes (coming soon)) Halloween themed dinner party. There was a ton of amazing food that was both delicious and festive. I always indulge a bit to much anytime I am eating her food. And, her condo was fabulously decorated in elegant Halloween decor that set the perfect mood. But the best part was we were able to have a fun night with our whole gang of friends (minus one getting her PHD in Michigan) for the first time in a long time. We had a fun "family" meal with yummy dessert and old time Halloween movies. (One being Hocus Pocus my fav - Halloween is not complete without it!) It was great talking, laughing, reminiscing and just being ourselves.

Yummy appetizers including "spiderweb" guac - still super delish! |

Festive table settings. |

And bottles to go along. |

And ready to eat, nomnomnom! |

Yumm, pumpkin pasta and turkey "eyeballs" :) |
|
And of course dessert. Complete with a chocolate coffin, fingers, and eyeballs, and chocolate witch hats filled with a sweet surprise (it was candy corn). |
|
Along with delicious cream cheese filled pumpkin streusel muffins. |
|
So much pumpkin food we began turning into pumpkins? |
