November 10, 2013
A second adventurous day of biking through NYC. We started at Grand Central Station today, before hopping on our bikes since it was right across the street from our hotel. It was awesome and reminded me of Harry Potter. I think I have been there once before when I was way younger, but it was so long ago I don't fully remember.

We then grabbed our bikes and began our trip, heading to the water again, but going the opposite direction once we got to the path. We biked up to the George Washington Bridge where we stopped to enjoy the view for a minute.

We then took of to Central Park where we rode around about a third or half of the loop. The park was pretty intense. It was like a road for non car riders (it is hard to explain) but there were traffic lights and yield signs everywhere even though it was only pedestrians, bikers and horse and buggies.

FDR water
We detoured out and went to the FDR water view where we glanced out at the beautiful view again before heading back to the hotel to check out and head home. It was such a great trip and experience. Every part of it was amazing and I am so happy I did not let my fears stop me (even though I did have a few minor freak outs during some of the biking). I do not regret a thing and can't wait to go do it again, but maybe in the spring or summer.
Pretty perfect day :)
