Random acts of kindness always win. I was excited I made it to swimming this morning, and it was refreshing to have weather nice enough to make me want to walk outside during lunch. But, it was the woman I've never met, who decided to give me the biggest smile, a high five, and the encouraging words, "Go you; you got this!" as I was pushing myself on my run today. I always say it, and it is still true, it is those moments that make me love running. I was going back and forth on how far to run and which route to take. I chose the slightly longer route, and it paid off in more ways then one. Thank you complete stranger, for being such a kind friend in the moment. You put a smile on my face, twinkle in my eyes, wonderful thoughts in my head, and helped me to push on.
