The Pursuit Of Happiness: 2.76
Happy almost Halloween -- or All Hallow's Eve. The day start out with a Halloween inspired morning swim, including "tombstone" kicking laps, ghost style free, and spirited drawings.
The evening presented itself with costumes, decorations, friends, and food, lots of food. I was excited to attend Lauren's annual All Hallows Eve dinner party. Her house was decorated just fabulously, amazingly. The ambiance was perfect. It was spooky. It was festive. It was haunted. It was brilliant. I gorged myself on Halloween themed food: seasoned pumpkin seeds, a spider cheese log, mummy jalapeño poppers, pumpkin chips and guac, 44 clove garlic soup, roasted fall veggies, ghost meringues, pumpkin cookies, and of course a ton of Halloween candy. I got to spend time with friends, watch Hocus Pocus, listen to the monster mash, and play Halloween themed games. Plus, I got a goody bag. And, I won the *cha-ching, cha-ching* big cash prize costume contest. Can you guess what I was from the photo?! That's right, an ice cream cone with sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. It was quite the magical night. Thanks Lauren, for stuffing me for days and outdoing yourself once again! Oh how I love Halloween and the Halloween spirit.
