The Pursuit Of Happiness: Week In Review
Saturday (292)Pre-travel planing to exotic places with friends over sushi makes for a lovely time, no matter the weather. Oh, and new candles that smell like the beach. Summers here.
Sunday (293)
5 mile run, hour at the gym, and homemade spring/summer rolls (I'm not sure what the difference is). Thanks to my friend Lauren I was inspired. Brenden and I made our own customized rolls. Mine was based on the smoked salmon summer rolls from iamfodblog. I stacked avocado, lox, cucumber, red onion, sprouts and rice noodles into the rice paper. I then drizzled some kewpie mayo on top, and rolled it all up. It was better then I could have imagined. Like a fancy bagel and lox. Oh my, so easy, so fresh, so amazing. The ideas for more custom made spring rolls are rolling around in my head!
Monday (294)
A 3.1 mile run, spent exploring the neighborhood.
Tuesday (295)
Reading away. I'm almost done my book of the moment, Eleanor & Park. So far I 100% recommend, but I think it is going to end up being so, so sad. Like when I read All The Bright Places balling my eyes out during the last few chapters. What had happened to me, I never used to be a crier?! Oh well. Have you guys read any of these? What did you think? Do you have any book recommendations for when I finish this one?
Wednesday (296)
New TV shows. Because Keia. Who has seen UnREAL? It is the drama about making a reality show. I think it is totally messed up, yet 100% addicting. What do you guys think? The thing that really gets me is that half of the "made up" things on this show probably really happen when directing and producing actual reality shows. Sigh, #trashtv.
Thursday (297)
Gym, bike, and run! Training is on, at least it was on for Thursday.
Friday (298)
I had a great morning swim, and my evening was filled with Lauren time. She came over to craft, which resulted in me watching her craft while I finished my UnREAL binge. Yes, I am all caught up. Now it's your turn!
How was your week? What were some of your daily highlights? Did you binge watch a tv show, get lost in a good read, or mesmerized by the scenery on a long run or bike ride?
