Hair Photography
Erin Case seems to be an abstract artist. I was most intrigues by the photographs she take of hair, and juxtaposes the hair with various backgrounds, usually landscapes. Some of her images include clothing articles or other artifacts, and some are simply hair and nature. Either way, it is amazing to see how creative someone can be and how well, concepts that are outside of the box works. No one has to tell me that Case is tying to portray an individual in each photograph although there is not a physical being in the frame.The longer you look, the more real they become. What do you think? Which is your favorite? |

very cool photos. I wonder what the artist means to convey with the juxtaposition between the hair and backround?
