The Pursuit Of Happiness: Week In Review
Saturday (348)Happy Wedding Day, Marie and Serge. I was so excited to be a part of there big day. The ceremony and reception were lovely, and Marie and Serge both looked so happy the entire time. I loved how they integrated both of there cultures into the wedding. And, I was excited to hang out with the gang, back together again.
Sunday (349)
After lifeguarding one of my favorite 7-year-old's birthday party, I was able to spend the rest of the day with Marie and Lauren and Serge. It was nice to be able to catch up in a calm environment, and celebrate (integrate) the newlyweds even more. Plus, watching them open wedding presents was a blast. Living vicariously through friends.
Monday (350)
The highlight of the day was that Miki came to visit me at work for lunch. We sat in the courtyard with the Lauren's and chatted away under the sun. Gotta soak up all my moments with her. Getting in a swim, run and bike, all in one day was an added bonus. Not to shabby. It's the little things
Tuesday (351)
Brenden's mom came to town. They spent the day together, and when I got home from work and the gym, Brenden and I made his mom and my mom dinner. Pasta with sauce. Fancy. But it was the company that counted. We ate and talked and watched the olympics.
Wednesday (352)
I did a run bike run from my house. Keeping up this training moment is making me super tired, but super happy. Each day is an accomplishment. Just as I was finishing Brenden brought his mom over. We went out to Clydes, and my mom joined too. We ate a delicious dinner outside by the water. There was music and pretty views and brick finding. It was a relaxing, tummy filling night.
Thursday (353)
Sometimes spending the evening on the couch, in the AC, with Buffy on Netflix is all I need.
Friday (354)
Naps are the best. Finishing up the week and starting the weekend with some R&R. Oh and happy World Elephant Day :)! They are my favorite.
How was your week? What were some of your daily highlights? Did you celebrate a joyous moment with friends? Are you training for anything big? Or are you spending the summer relaxing away from this heat?
