The Pursuit Of Happiness: Week In Review

Saturday
Maryland's first official snow day (read: ice day) has come. My car was dropped off to get worked on last night, and because of layer of ice coating everything, I didn't want to ask anyone to go out of their way to help me get it when it was ready today. Therefore I was part voluntarily, part involuntarily trapped inside for a true snow day. All was well as I watched listened to the snow and ice fall. I spent the some of the day cleaning the house, but mostly wrapping presents and making envelopes for the holidays cards Brenden and I are planning to send out.

The Pursuit Of Happiness: 2.34

Without a down, this web launch has been the most excited I have been in a while. Today, the website I have been working on for over a year at work went live. We are officially baltimorehebrew.org and it is fabulous…if I say so myself, and I do. Today was a whirlwind of nerves, excitement and happiness. Not only did the launch go swimmingly, but Andy and I got to sport our web launch shirts as project managers, and we were given flowers in appreciation. And anyone who knows me, knows I love flowers, especially sunflowers. So check out the site because we have all worked really hard on it! And, enjoy the photo-story recap of the launch.

Oh and also a happy that can't be left out, Brenden surprised me with a tablet. Woo - - off to go play on it now :).

The Pursuit Of Happiness: 2.24

It was a pretty exciting day for me in the work world. My title was officially changed to "Assistant Director of Communications and Design" at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. And I made my first appearance, and presentation, at the Board of Electors meeting tonight. I had a name tag and everything. It was really heartwarming to hear so many compliments and quite fantastic to see how the congregation functions outside of business hours.

The Pursuit Of Happiness - Entry #333

Some of my digital photography was hung in a show today. My first show, BHC's Emerging Artists Exhibit. Below are three of the four I have hanging. The fourth is not in this series. Go check it out live and tell me what do you think. The frame, wall, and lights (sorry for the glare in the photo below) do wonders. Super pumped and excited I have already gotten so much positive feedback on my work. Oh how I have missed photography.

Three of my pieces frames and hung…remember these from way back when?

The Pursuit Of Happiness - Entry #298

Getting pumped about my upcoming graduation festivities. I decorated my cap tonight for the first time.

UB colors and logo with a big thanks to all, and of course all topped with glitter.

I am also very honored that my work is proud of my graduation so much that a few of them made offerings in honor of it :). Thank you so much to those people and that you everyone who has supported me throughout or at one point or another during this journey. It has been a great ride.

Two offerings in my name, such a surprise, so honored! :D

Plus, I had nice, chill night hanging and catching up with some peeps in the gang.
