Snow -- day two.
1. Snowed in, waking up to the snow covered ground and snow filled sky made for a beautiful morning.
2. A relaxing day spent reading a book and watching tv shows and movies with Brenden.
3. Baking, one of my favorite snow day activities. I made chai spiced cupcakes with chai brown butter buttercream frosting and a cinnamon sugar topping. Can you say gluttony? So good!
The frosting is smooth, light and fluffy, with the slightest hint of creaminess. The cupcake itself is moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, emitting the most wonderful aroma. My mouth waters as I go to take a bite. I taste the butter, milk, and seasonings that have been combined to the potato base of the frosting, perfectly complementing the mixture of barbecue sauce, cheese, and ground beef that the frosting is secured to...
